The Research Oversight Legal Team of the Office of the General Counsel, HHS, oversees ORI's legal operations which include:

• representing the office in administrative hearings before the Departmental Appeals Board (DAB),
• drafting regulatory and legislative initiatives,
• and providing advice and counsel to ORI's oversight and education divisions.
